VEX THEATRE COMPANY ANNOUNCES PRODUCTION OF "DR. JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE" ADAPTED BY
JEFFREY HATCHER
Elgin, IL - Vex Theatre Company announces their fall production of the play "Dr.
Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher from the novella "The Strange
Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" by Robert Louis Stevenson. It will be presented
September 11-20, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 3:00pm, at the
Elgin Art Showcase, 164 Division Street, Elgin, IL.
Non-equity Chicagoland premiere!
This brand new version of "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher,
is a fast-paced and thrilling new take on the classic horror tale. The seven
actors in the cast take on two dozen roles, with four different actors portaying
Mr. Hyde. Vex Theatre is proud to present the non-equity debut of this unusual,
highly theatrical play in the Chicagoland area.

At the Elgin Art Showcase, 164 Division Street, Elgin, IL. Fridays and Saturdays

The cast includes: Tony Parise (Cary), Jim McDoniel (Chicago), Taryn Hettlinger
(Warrenville), Bruce Worthel (North Aurora), Adam Krause (Hanover Park), Debbi
Dennison (Schaumburg) and Cathleen Ann (Palatine). The show is directed by Rich
Geiger (Palatine), a founding member of Vex Theatre Company.
