VEX THEATRE COMPANY ANNOUNCES NEW SUMMER SHOW "MUSE"
TO BE PERFORMED AS PART OF ELGIN'S ART & SOUL ON THE FOX FESTIVAL

Elgin, IL. Vex Theatre Company announces their all-new summer show, "Muse." The show runs one weekend only, August 3 and 4, 2013, at the Elgin Art Showcase, 164 Division Street in Elgin, IL. Showtimes are Saturday, August 3, at 6:00pm and 8:00pm; and Sunday, August 4, at 4:00pm and 6:00pm. Tickets are $5. For information, visit www.vextheatre.org.

All New Show! Big Arts Festival Weekend!
"Muse" consists of several short, original plays about the comic and sometimes harrowing process of creating art, from the written word to paint on a canvas.

This one-act performance is sponsored by the Elgin Cultural Arts Commission as part of the City of Elgin's huge arts festival weekend consisting of Art & Soul on the Fox, the Kaleidoscope Music Festival, and the brand new Elgin Summer Stage at the Showcase provided by Vex Theatre Company. "Muse" is the first production of Elgin Summer Stage at the Showcase.

"Muse" features local actors including: Debbi Dennison (Streamwood),
Marc Jolley (South Elgin), Geoff Maher (Arlington Heights), Cheryl Rice (Elmhurst), Lori Rohr (Palatine), and Cathleen Ann (Palatine).  It was written by Debbi Dennison (Streamwood), Marc Jolley (South Elgin), Rich Geiger (Palatine), and Cathleen Ann (Palatine).

"Muse" runs one weekend only, August 3 and 4, 2013
at the Elgin Art Showcase, 164 Division Street in Elgin, IL.
